Current Bank Account

  • Any person owing a business or a partner or affiliated to the business eligible to open a current account.
  • A current account help to business in the smooth flow of banking transaction.
  • A current account can be created by an individual or proprietor or a company.

Import Export Code (IEC Code)

  • Import Export Code is a 10-digit alpha numeric code issued on the basis of PAN entity.
  • It is a license of Import-Export. Its application worth is only Rs.500.
  • To Import or Exported in India, IEC code is mandatory. No Person or entity shall mark any import or export without IEC Code Number, unless specifically exempted.
  • IEC is issued in electronic form (E-IEC) by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) which is under ministry of commerce, Government of India.
  • An IEC allotted permanent validity for export & import.

RCMC (Registration Cum Membership Certificate)

  • RCMC is a membership certificate issued by Export Promotion Council or Commodity Board of India.
  • This certificate is a proof of any exporter is registered with the council/Board.
  • As per Foreign Trade policy, an exporter is required to get a RCMC certificate for availing benefits under the policy.
  • There are 26 Export Promotion Council & Commodities board in India.

Goods & Services Tax

  • GST Registration is mandatory for taxable person under GST.
  • You would be required to get GST registration after crossing the limit of RS.20 Lakhs.
  • Export of goods and services or both on payment of integrated tax and the exporter can claim refund of GST paid on such goods and services.

LUT Letter of Understanding

  • Letter of undertaking is the document that the user provides declaring fulfilment of all requirement under GST.
  • It is provided in the event that export is made without IGST being paid.
  • If exporter fail to provide LUT, then he has to pay IGST.

AD Code

  • An Authorised Dealer Code (AD Code) is a 14-digit numerical code provided by bank with which your business has a current account.
  • Exporter have to register in every port, where he is clearance of goods from custom.
  • At the time of custom clearance, your CHA asks you to provide AD Code registration for particular port.
  • AD code is register to port where we export good, but it can be registering only one time or it is a one-time process in one port.

ISO Certificate

  • A manufacturing process, documentation method service or management system that has met all standard for uniformity & quality control.
  • ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety & efficiency of product service & systems

FSSAI (Certificate for food only)

  • FSSAI registration is mandatory compliance that ensure the safety of food product supplied or manufactured by various established in India.
  • It is a food safety certificate issued by the respective food authority of India.

ADC (Certificate for Pharma)

  • ADC means Assistant drug controller.
  • We need to get an NoC from the ADC, When we wish to export cosmetic product or OTC product on the commercial basis or as a gift to your friend (non-commerce of basis) AD C NoC is obtained from the airport.

FDA Certificate

  • The FDA certificate generally means companies registered with the US food & drug administration are often asked by their customer & suppliers to verify then FDA registration number & registration validity date especially in case of food manufacturer & exporter.

GMP Certificate

  • A manufacturer who has gained GMP certification has demonstrated a strong commitment to following regulations and adhering to global GMP standards.

 

HACCP Certificate

  • HACCP is a management method that address food safety.
  • Through the study & control of biological, chemical & physical risk from raw material production, procurement & handling to manufacture distribution & consumption of finished product.

Kosher Certificate

  • Every ingredient food additive & processing aid utilised in the creation of a product must also be KOSHER in order for it to be certified kosher & to be eligible for a kosher certificate.
  • A KOSHER auditor must also approve the production process in order for it to be KOSHER Certified as it must meet all kosher regulation.
  • If product manufacturing is also utilised to create non-Kosher goods that product may become non-kosher.

Bill of Lading

Fumigation Certificate

  • In most of the cases, Wooden material is used in packaging for export. Buyer insists suppliers to fumigate cargo & asked to provide fumigation certificate along with other export document.
  • Fumigation is a legal requirement by the buyer in most of the country’s fumigation certificate is issued by fumigator obtained approval for fumigation from licensing authority.
  • Most of the countries is not allow import without fumigation.

Phytosanitary Certificate

  •  Phytosanitary Certificates for exports or re-export man only be issued by a public official who is technically qualified & duly authorized by the NPPD.
  • Phytosanitary certificate for export is usually issued by the NPPD of the country where the plant product or regulated article was grown or processed.

Insurance Certificate

Testing Report of Product

Third Party Inspection Certificate

Charter Engineer Certificate

  • A charter engineer (CE) certificate is required if you are importing goods and materials from other countries to India. So, this certificate is issued to the importer by DGFT.

 

Declaration Letter

Shipping Bill

  • A shipping Bill is an important document required by customs authorities of clearance of goods.
  • The shipping Bill is generated by system in two copies one as custom copy & one as exporter copy.

Bill of Entry

  • Bill of entry is a legal document filed by importer or custom clearance agent on before the arrival of imported goods.
  • It is presented to the custom department as a part of the custom clearance process. Bill of Entry can be issued for domestic consumption or bond clearance.

VGM Copy

  • The purpose of the VGM requirement is to obtain the accurate gross weight of packed containers so that ship and terminal operators can prepare vessel storage space plans before loading cargo on ships. This requirement will protect the people and assets of ship and terminal operators as well as the cargo of shippers.

NOC from the Government

  • If any goods are exported or imported which contain hazardous related products, then such import or export is permitted with the NOC (No Objection Certificate) obtained from various offices of the government such as if you want to export or import medical related products, then permission is granted with the NOC (No Objection Certificate) obtained from the Drug Controller Office of the Government.

NOC from Manufacturer

  • GSP (Generalized System of Preferences).
  • The Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) is a US trade program designed to promote economic development in the developing world by providing preferential duty-free entry for up to 4,800 products from 129 designated beneficiary countries and territories. The GSP was established on January 1, 1976, by the Trade Act 1974.
  • e-BRC Electronic Bank Receipt Certificate
  • The Bank Receipt Certificate (BRC) is issued by banks on the basis of receipt of payment against exports by the exporter. Any firm applying for benefits under the foreign trade policy is required to submit a valid BRC as proof of receipt of payment against exports made. The BRC details are entered in the DGFT application.
  • Bill of Exchange is a written document which is bind one party to pay a specified amount to the second party on demand or a specified data. It is a similar to promising note.
